About the work:

The staircase climbs upwards, disappearing behind a whitewashed wall. The houses huddle close together, piled one upon another, barely letting a ray of sky through. The pencil drawing plays on contrasts: sharp shadows beneath the sun, blinding walls, steps worn by time. No sea here, only the arid minerality of Chora, its silent labyrinth. A work that invites you to climb, to lose yourself, to discover what lies at the top of the climb.
