About the work:

The Gothic spires of Týn Church dominate the view, their dark silhouettes standing out against the sky. The street is lined with pastel-coloured façades, watched over by old shop signs. The fine pen strokes capture the rigour of Gothic and Baroque architecture, as well as the delicacy of the ornamentation. The shadows are sharp, the light softly diffused.
