About the work:

From Zámecké schody Street, the staircase leading up to Prague Castle, one looks out over the Malá Strana district, with its rooftops and the Baroque spires of St Nicholas’s Church. The colourful façades of Thunovská Street stand in a row, narrow and tall. In the distance, one can make out the silhouette of the Žižkov TV Tower. The drawing captures this distant perspective, the city unfolding beneath one’s feet, evoking the atmosphere of Prague.
