About the work:

The staircase climbs between the walls of the houses, winds, turns, and then disappears. You can't see the summit, you no longer know where it's going. The atmosphere is that of a white labyrinth. This is the path that climbs from Livadi to Chora, but one could easily get lost there. The line drawing captures the uncertainty of a path that slips away after the bend. You can almost feel the fatigue of an endless climb in the silence of the walls.
