About the work:

A view of the mountains opens up between the two houses. One wall is bathed in bright light, the other is plunged into shadow. In the distance, the mountains fill the horizon in the midday sun. The drawing brings out the contrasts between the blinding whiteness, the shadow and the dark mass of the mountains. One senses an intense, still heat, weighing down on the stone in the frozen landscape. A suspended moment in which only the shadow seems to come to life.
