About the work:

The descent is steep, the path winding. We make our way down towards Livadi, towards the sea and the boats. We walk past a small white church, guardian of the path. The pencil sketch follows the slope, the winding steps, the retaining walls. The church stands there, its bell tower watching over the travellers. A work that tells of transitions, from Chora to Livadi, from the heights to the shore.
