About the work:

The absence of a parapet gives the Ponte Chiodo an airy, almost fragile appearance. The steps seem to float between the two banks, with the reflections on the water reaching up to the non-existent railing. The pencil drawing highlights the elegance of the arch and the rough texture of the stones. A work that celebrates the simple boldness of an extraordinary Venetian bridge.
