About the work:

Above, Chora clings to its rock, its white houses terraced like a stone staircase. Below, in the distance, barely visible, lies Livadi, the harbour. The pencil drawing plays on depth: the distance between the two worlds, the path connecting them, the roofs forming terraces. The Greek light unifies the whole, crackling with heat, yet each element retains its rightful place. A work that takes in the harbour and its village in a single glance.
