About the work:

In the Chora of Serifos, a passageway carved into the side of a house leads up to the Venetian Castro. This white stone tunnel is situated on the street that climbs up from the square in front of the old town hall. The geometric architecture of the Cyclades plays with light: white walls, sharp shadows, clean lines. You walk through it, then the street continues its climb upwards. The whole scene evokes the atmosphere of this secret path, beneath an intense sun that sculpts each form with vivid shadows.
