You can\u2019t see the top; you lose track of where it\u2019s leading. The atmosphere is that of a white labyrinth. It is the path leading up from Livadi to Chora, but one could easily lose one\u2019s way here. No two steps are alike, the bare stone glistening in the sun. The line drawing captures this uncertainty, this path that vanishes after the bend.
